Student Business Development Representative

Team Pej is growing and we are looking for a student to join our senior commercial team 8-16 hours per week in a supporting Business Development Representative role.

Pej is a B2B SaaS start-up on a mission to revolutionize the food and beverage industry. We offer a unique set of account management and self-service ordering solutions enabling world class digital customer experiences for the food service and hospitality sector. Headquartered in Malmö, we work with some of the largest food service companies in the world. We want your help to find and build relationships with new potential customers within the food and beverage space across the globe.

You will work closely with our senior sales and partner executives, as well as our marketing team, to support market expansion. We imagine that you are tech-savvy and have experience in business development roles, but we are ready to be surprised. Most importantly, you possess an entrepreneurial mindset and are ready to help us achieve our ambitious growth targets.

You will

  • Build a growth pipeline through identifying and handling outreach to key decision makers and senior executives

  • Tailor position and messaging to different segments, regions and personas

  • Qualify leads; discover if we are a good match and if there is a concrete sales opportunity

  • Conduct competitor, market and industry analysis to impact growth strategy

  • Manage and update pipeline though keeping our CRM system Hubspot up to date

Your expertise

  • In your 2nd to 4th year in Industrial Engineering and Management or similar engineering or business education

  • Experience within sales, business development or growth roles is preferred

  • Interest in tech and experience of working in SaaS start-up/scale-up is valuable

  • Fluent in English is necessary; fluency in other European languages is a plus
